Top Down Games on Android in France: Q2 2022 Performance

In Q2 2022, the top down games category witnessed significant shifts in the French Android market. Data from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing trends for the top 5 games: Clash Royale, Dislyte, Brawl Stars, Candy Crush Soda Saga, and Diablo Immortal.

Clash Royale from Supercell saw a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $400K and dropping to approximately $168K by the end of June. Weekly downloads also decreased from 66K to 21K, while weekly active users declined from 3.7M to 2.8M.

Dislyte from FARLIGHT showed an impressive revenue surge, peaking at about $478K in mid-May before tapering off to $100K by the end of June. Downloads started at 7K in early May, reached a high of 63K, and then settled at around 4.5K. Active users peaked at 33K in mid-May but gradually decreased to 12K by the end of the quarter.

Brawl Stars, another Supercell title, experienced a mixed quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at $208K in early May before stabilizing around $61K by late June. Downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 11K and 20K. Active users saw a slight decline from 845K to 751K.

Candy Crush Soda Saga from King had a steady performance. Weekly revenue hovered around $64K to $76K. Downloads remained consistent, ranging from 4K to 9K. Active users saw a minor decrease from 225K to 185K throughout the quarter.

Diablo Immortal from Blizzard Entertainment, launched at the end of May, saw strong initial performance. Weekly revenue started at $66K and peaked at $191K in early June before settling at around $97K. Downloads began at 120K, then dropped to about 13K. Active users started at 103K and decreased to 43K by the end of the month.
